    The atmosphere was lovely, but the room was absurdly outdated with peeling paint and half-working lighting, a sight for sore eyes. I expected a room upgrade for my troubles, but alas, that was too much to ask. The shower had mould, not!

    The breakfasts where substantial and lovely with gluten-free bread, amazing coffee and great view and excellant service. It was perfectly located in Thurso, near to a ferry to the Orkneys, Scrabster or Thurso and which is up another 2 floors

    great access to the ferry and charming nearby attractions

    during my stay, I loved the close proximity to Holburn Head Lighthouse, just a few steps away, making morning walks good, while the friendly staff created a warm atmosphere, made each return to the hotel feel like coming home.

    Old and tired decor!!! The shower enclosure is cramped, leading to uncomfortable bathing experiences!!! Inconsistent water pressure made it difficult to enjoy a proper shower!!!

    The location was perfect, just steps from the ferry. Staff were super accommodating, even arranging a late snack for us when we arrived. The bar had a lively atmosphere, with live football shown on big screens. Breakfast was huge, giving us energy for the day ahead. Clean rooms and great views were a nice touch.

    We had to make a call back to sort it out. Just something to keep in mind .
